pictures, pictures and more pictures..NOT....

I'm finally sitting down to upload some pictures of various things. I'm crawling out from underneath a dark rock of a sinus headache that put me completely down yesterday. I'm thankful that it's gone today. Last night, we sat and watched Star Wars Episode 1 with the boys for the first time so I guess we'll be on a Star Wars kick for a while.

Now, for pictures. First, a little bit of art. I've not gotten to do much lately but I did play around with some hot press watercolor paper and made some background pages for journaling. Right now, they are loose but I will be binding them at my first opportunity. It's been fun experimenting with this paper since I've always worked with cold press paper. The hot press is completly different and the pigment reacts different on it.




For these pages, I worked pretty wet. I've always worked pretty wet and need to practice some dry techniques. Now to do some writing on them!

Well, now I'm having trouble with Blogger uploading photos. I keep getting errors so, I guess I can't post a bunch more pictures right now! booohooo! Maybe that's the a clue for me to go wash dishes from yesterday. Bleh.... besides, Sam is sorta' patiently waiting to use the computer....
