is there help?
OK, so is there a 12 step program for someone like me who saves fabric scraps this small? Is there a name for such sickness that brings such delight? ;) Hey people, don't laugh at me! I'm serious! Please tell me I'm not alone....
I can't believe only one person has stepped up to the plate here to admit that YES we do save scraps of fabrics that small. Just this weekend I had a bag of ribbon ends and small pieces I took to DJ's workshop and a lot of them were scarfed up! I also buy bags of the little silk sample swatches from Thai silks, I BUY them to have. So I'm laughing at this but I'm laughing with you right?

That holey fabric might be great glued onto card and painted and used with some other collage items. The texture would be neat.
Little bits. I save a lot but not all. It depends on my mood. If I'm sewing to use up some of my fabric a lot goes into the trash. Otherwise I can save pretty small pieces.
If there is, sign me up. I have a ten inch glass fishbowl crammed with pieces of fabric this tiny. I used to tell myself to put them in there so the vacuum wouldn't get clogged up. Then I told myself the truth.
You are not alone! Confession: Sometimes I cut up big pieces into small pieces just this size. Not only do I save this sized piece, I use them in my own work, and my Too Small To Keep, Too Big To Throw Away demos/workshops!
Hi Angie! I'm catching up with my Google Reader while playing in traffic. I don't save those tiny squares, but I can see why you would. I have the cutest summer dress that is made from squares about that big. It's not an illness. It's a passion! Hugs, Darya
