Busy day

Well, what a busy day I have had! I read to my boys classrooms as usual, on Fridays. I finished at school by 9:00 and headed home. I met with a young girl to discuss art classes, which will really officially start next week. Today was a time of showing her some of the things I do, finding out her interests, etc... so I could get a direction to go that she will really enjoy. I'm very excited!

As soon as she left, my friend Lynn, came over to go through another class proposal with me. We worked through the project and worked some kinks out by looking at potential problems, coming up with valuable questions and demonstrations for composition design, etc... It was a productive time.

Lynn stayed until 6:30. I quickly changed clothes, ran through McDonald's (shiver..) and headed to church to see a film at 7:00 titled "As We Forgive" about the genocide in Rwanda and the reconciliation that is taking place between the victims and those who murder their families. It was a powerful, thought provoking film. I highly recommend it if you can find it being shown anywhere in your area.

Chuck has the boys on weekends but tomorrow, he has a class he is taking so we will swap the boys back out by 8:00 in the morning and I'll have them until 6:30. We may plan an outing... I'm not sure yet.

There has been a lot of "drama" in my life this week, which I can't go into, but I am thankful for the protection, peace, and clarity that God has given me along with his tangible presence in the mist of it. I am happy.

Well, gotta' get to bed. I'd like to get up early in the morning and at least get in a walk before I get the boys back. Don't know if I'll have time for a mountain hike but at least a walk would be good. So, I'm heading to bed...
