We started our day off going out to breakfast. Max snapped a shot of me and Chuck while we were waiting for our food to come out. Breakfast is my favorite meal to go out. Why? I don't know! I just like morning stuff, I guess! And then.... we drove out for me to meet my new baby!!!!
This is Kenzy! My new baby! His name means "my treasure", and he certainly is! The bummer is he won't be ready to come home with me for another month! It will be a LONG month for this new mommy! For those of you who have been friends or readers of my blog for a while know how hard it has been for me this year after losing my Abyssinian, Minya, after 19 years with her. It's been 11 months since she passed away and I still cry over her. This little guy is my birthday and Christmas rolled into one and what a wonderful gift for me! I can't wait to get him home! It was so fun watching him and his litter mates play! My boys are very excited too! He will be the first male cat I've ever owned so I'm crossing my fingers that he'll be super-sweet. I'll give him lots of lovin' to give him the best shots of being loving back! Isn't he just the cutest thing? Can you tell I'm excited!!!! I couldn't have asked for a better gift!

Oh, Angie! Your kitty is gorgeous!! I want a cat soooo badly!! We have three dogs, tho, so I don't think it's in the cards just yet! Enjoy!! And Happy Birthday!

a huge congrats Angie..he is so sweet! What a pretty boy! I have to say all of the favorite cats i have ever had were boy cats! Just make sure you get him neutered early so he doesn't start spraying..other than that, all the boy kitties i have had were the most loving and sweet things ever..and always wanting love..enjoy him and i hope the month goes by fast for you!
