Birthday continuation

Well, I got a long, two hour nap this afternoon and then Chuck made me the most AMAZING dinner ever! Filet, with Chuck's special marinade and rub, grilled asparagus, avacado, heirloom tomatoes, and roasted baby carrots and white beets. OMG, was it ever delicious! Our friend, Doug, is in town for the weekend from Cleveland so he came over and had dinner with us. Just look at this yummy food! ( remember we are in the midst of remodeling so forgive clutter stuff in the background!)

Fabulous wine....

And Max lost his first top tooth at bedtime! The other one is ready to pull too. He'll be able to sing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!" I'm giving the other one maybe another week or so before he finally lets me get it out.

If I saw any clutter in the bakground I would forgive it.

Happy Birthday! What a feast! Hey, my son may be looking for someone to watch his cat, again. Apparently the arrangement isn't working out so well with his current caretakers due to other pets that aren't adjusting well. He's willing to have The Professor shipped to Arizona. I know you have a new kitty, but are you interested? It would be temporary until he gets out of the Air Force, probably around June of 2009. Give me a call or drop me a line if you're interested or need more info.
