Look what I got!

My youngest little guy, Max, spent the night with his Granny last night. Today, he came home running to me as fast as he could with these flowers he picked for me! He's always so thoughtful. Aren't they beautiful? And yes, you get to see me on an average day... no make-up, hair pulled back with a baseball cap on.. but I sorta' feel like Miss America here... minus the fancy clothes, make-up, and fancy hairdo... oh, and no wave either. But I am one lucky mom! ;)

Keep that smile on your face and you will always look gorgeous ... even on "an average day".

Hi Angie,

You asked how to pronounce Adjo - well, pretty much as it is written in most of the Arab World, but in Egypt they tend to soften the j to a g so it is add-go. I prefer Adjo myself and it is sometimes called that. I do not know what it means - where on earth did you find that? Jenny

I just had a look at the same website of egyptian names - However - all those names are Ancient Egyptian and nothing to do with current Egyptians (though the Copts - the Christians - claim to be related to them. Minya is an Arabic word - not Ancient. If you want the current name that means 'My Treasure' and would work better with Minya it is Kenzy - or pronounced Kenzie. I love that name and have a friend who used it for his firstborn. Putting a y on the end of a noun is like saying 'my...' in English. Good luck

My actual email address is jenny.bowker@gmail.com - but please do not publish that in your comments
