Soon, it will be high travel time as people all over the world take summer vacations. I thought these rubber stamps would be a great give-away and encourage some creative juices to flow and document your summer trip! There is a little catch in the drawing this time around. Along with leaving a comment, you must tell me which of the previously desert photos is your favorite and why! ;) There are a few posts made over the past couple of days with desert photos so don't miss any! they are all so unique, including the ones taken by my 8-year-old son! So, just leave a comment with your thoughts and don't forget to include contact info. If you don't have it on your own blog. The drawing will be on Wednesday! So let's play and get ready for those trips!

Your photos are wonderful. I was raised in Arizona and always thought the desert was amazing. I love when the catus bloom thus, I like your blooming catus the best. Some people just see dirt and rock, I see life and beauty. Have a wonderful day!

I especially like your photos which have saguaros in them. I lived many years in Palm Springs, then later at Ft. Huachucha. I miss the desert southwest.

Hi, Angie, I have to say I love the first one, the heart cactus sort of quietly in the arms of the rest of the plant. I live in Flagstaff, and we love this time of year in the valley, the desert is coming back to life! Thanks for posting these. Suzanne

Tough choice because the desert is a strangely beautiful place. I love the heart cactus...and those poppies are vibrant enough to eat...also love the geometric patterns that occur naturally. I'm always drawn to those.....BUT...my absolute favorite pic is the one of YOU AND YOUR SON! Not only did you get to enjoy the beauty but build a memory...and that's the BEST!

I love the picture with the lizard. It is so amazing how God created creatures for every kind of habitat. We have a botanical gardens in Ann Arbor, Michigan that is part of the University of Michigan. It is set up in four different rooms you walk through. The last one is the cactus garden. I always love seeing it, especially when some are in bloom. You would never expect such different looking plants to have such beautiful blossoms!

Angie's photo of the garden path leading to the giant Saguaro is one of my favorite because it pulls me deeper into the picture. Sam's photo of the bird on the giant Saguaro is my other favorite because it also has great composition. I haven't lived in Scottsdale since 1992. Thanks for reminding me of some of my favorite beauties of the desert.
